Carlingford Lough Heritage Trust was formed in 1990 to identify, maintain and restore the medieval core of Carlingford. Holy Trinity Heritage Centre is the flagship of the Trust. The aim of Holy Trinity Heritage Centre is to give the visitor an insight into Carlingford's history and to encourage a deeper exploration of the narrow streets and antiquities of this charming place.

  • Local guides will introduce you to King John's Castle, The Mint, Taaffe's Castle, The Tholsel, The Dominican Friary... Tours can be booked at the Centre

  • View the history of Carlingford in the triptychs from the coming of the Vikings in 832 through the Norman period up to the present. These triptychs can be closed allowing the building to return to a place of assembly

  • This extensive space can be used for any function suitable to the ambience of Holy Trinity Heritage centre, such as
    * Meetings
    * Conferences
    * Musical evenings
    * Drama productions
