We are delighted to announce that Celtic Rose will be performing in Carlingford Heritage Centre on Sunday 11th March at 4pm (Doors open at 3.30pm).

Soprano Emer Barry, violinist Mary McCague and harpist Aisling Ennis enjoy a loyal following thanks to their infectious personality, witty and insightful programming and of course, their talent and virtuosity.

Hailing from Dublin and each respected musicians in their own right, they have performed throughout Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and Asia, as solo, chamber and orchestral musicians. As Celtic Rose they perform an eclectic mix of classical, rock, pop, traditional Irish and jazz standards and have created their own unique and instantly recognizable sound. Your browser may not support display of this image. Aisling Ennis is one of Britain's most exciting harpists. She has performed throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe, USA and Asia. Originally from Dublin, Aisling's CV includes performances with artists including Sinead O'Connor, Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts, Josh Ritter, rap artist Kanye West and renowned British comedian Bill Bailey. Her first TV performance was at the age of ten.

Aisling’s orchestral career began at an early age with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, with whom she was principal harpist for over nine years. Aisling now performs regularly with Ireland’s leading professional orchestras including the RTE National Symphony Orchestra, the RTE Concert Orchestra and the Orchestra of the National Concert Hall. With a musical palette ranging from classical music to jazz and traditional Irish music, Aisling's concert performances are extensive and varied, ranging from solo concerto performances in the National Concert Hall to performances in China and Hungary at the invitation of Foreign Affairs and appearances in concert with rap artist Kanye West during his recent world tour. www.aislingennis.com

Mary McCague has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and piano accompanist in all the major venues in Ireland, including the National Concert Hall, the Helix and Cork City Hall, and has worked on a freelance basis with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra and the Irish Chamber Orchestra.

Mary is also in demand as a musical director and works with choirs and musical societies throughout the country. Mary divides her time between Cork, Dublin and Dundalk.

Mary regularly appears on 'The Late Late Show' where she has performed with Michael Bublé, Westlife, Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, Phil Coulter, Katherine Jenkins, Il Divo and numerous other top acts. She also performed as a soloist on RTÉ's 'The View.' In addition, Mary has played at the Meteor Awards with various artists and performed on stage at the Point Theatre with Kanye West.www.marymccague.com


Emer Barry has performed extensively throughout Ireland as a soloist on both the concert platform and as guest soprano with choral societies and orchestras. She is a regular soloist at the National Concert Hall and has performed as guest soprano with leading Irish composer and singer Liam Lawton. Operatic roles include Fulvia in Rossini's La Pietra del Paragone, Nedda in Leoncavallo's Pagliacci with Wonderland Productions Ltd, Susanna in La Nozze di Figaro, Mozart and First Lady 'The Magic Flute' with Glasthule Opera 2011. She also played the female lead of Serpina in Pergolesi's La Serva Padrona which toured the north of Italy in July 2009 under the direction of Opera Theatre Company's Annalise Miskimmon

Emer has participated in masterclasses with some of opera’s most prestigious teachers and performers including Susan McCulloch, Ugo Benelli, Robin Bowman, Sarah Walker and Graham Johnson. In 2004, she was chosen to participate in the international opera programme Operaplus in Belgium where she performed the roles of First Lady (Die Zauberflote – Mozart) and Lisetta (La Rondine – Puccini). Other operatic roles include Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Tebaldo (Don Carlo - Verdi) and Fulvia (La Pietra del Paragone – Rossini). Emer has also performed with Opera Ireland in their productions of Mozarts Die Zauberflote and  Glucks Orfeo ed Euridice which toured in Germany. www.emerbarry.com
