Christmas Floral Arranging Demonstration presented by Bernie Preston

Thursday 8th December at 8pm (Doors open at 7.30pm)

The demonstrator, Bernie Preston (NDSF/AIFD), who is from a renowned family florist business in Newry, who have been trading for more than 50 years and were voted in the top 50 shops in Ireland and the UK in 2011. Bernie has worked on the design team for Interflora at the Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows, winning gold in 1996.

She also won Ireland's florist of the year competition in 1999 and worked on land art development project in Switzerland 2000.

She lectured in floristry for six years in the Botanic Gardens Dublin and was a member of a teaching team who travelled and taught at a new floristry school in Shanghai, China. At present she is actively involved with Interflora as regional training consultant, organising floristry exams and shop retailing assessor.

This promises to be a most interesting night with lots of ideas for decorating your home for the festive season.
